A Legacy of Learning and Leadership: The Inspiring Journey of Dr. Dashiell

Dr. Dashiell’s life reflects an unwavering commitment to education, children’s well-being, and community transformation. Her story begins in Albany, Georgia, where she attended Dougherty County Public Schools and graduated from Monroe Comprehensive High School in June 1993. Even in her early years, she displayed a deep compassion for children and a strong belief in the power of nurturing and guidance values that would shape the path of her career for decades to come.

A Relentless Pursuit of Education

Motivated by a passion to serve and uplift young people, Dr. Dashiell embarked on a rich and continuous academic journey. She pursued higher education with extraordinary determination, completing not one but two doctoral degrees. In April 2016, she earned her Doctorate in Christian Education from Christian Bible College & Seminary, grounding her work in faith-based principles of compassion, leadership, and service.

Continuing her commitment to understanding the human experience, she completed a second terminal degree a Doctorate in Psychology from the University at Dayspring in June 2019. This achievement broadened her ability to address the emotional and mental health needs of children and families.

Her academic preparation also includes a strong foundation in early childhood education. At Albany Technical College, she earned specialized degrees in:

• Infant Toddler Child Care Specialist (2004)

• Child Development Specialist (2005)

• Early Childhood Care & Education (2007)

These programs equipped her with hands-on expertise in early childhood development skills that have remained central to her mission of supporting young learners.

A Heart for Healing

One of Dr. Dashiell’s most impactful accomplishments was obtaining her Clinical Therapist License, a credential that allowed her to more directly and professionally support children experiencing challenges such as depression and anxiety. Through this work, she has guided young people through some of their most difficult moments, offering empathy, tools for healing, and a safe space to be understood.
