Women Investors: The Missing Power in Global Growth
When I stood on the stage of the Annual Investment Meeting in Abu Dhabi, speaking about women investors and cross-border collaboration, I realized that this moment was more than a professional milestone. It was the confirmation of a journey that began in a small Romanian town, shaped by a powerful truth: women are the backbone of society, yet rarely the beneficiaries of wealth.
Raised by a single mother who embodied resilience without access to capital or support systems, I learned early how talent and effort alone are not enough when financial opportunity is missing. That personal story became the foundation of my mission.
Globally, women are launching businesses faster than ever, especially in Europe and the Middle East. Yet less than 2% of venture capital goes to female founders, and women represent only 8ā12% of angel investors. Even in developed economies, women face significantly lower financial security. This is not a gender issue it is an economic one. When women access capital, economies grow.
In response, I founded Elite Business Women Club, now active in 11 countries across Europe and the Arab region, engaging over 12,000 entrepreneurs. From investor roundtables in Dubai and delegations to Israel, to participation in the Annual Investment Congress in Abu Dhabi and the Silk Road Roadshow, EBW has become a bridge between EU and GCC markets, connecting women founders, investors, diplomats, and innovators.

Women invest differently more sustainably, more long-term, and more community-focused. But to increase the number of women investors, we need financial education, access to capital, cultural intelligence, and visible role models.
In 2026, we launch two flagship initiatives:
Milan International Business Forum (October 2026)
Dubai Business Delegation (November 2026)
These programs are designed for women ready to scale globally, access investment, and build cross-border partnerships.
My message to women across Europe and the Middle East is simple:
You were born to lead economically, strategically, and globally.
The next decade belongs to women who invest in themselves, their businesses, and each other.
