Award-winning actor and artist Tyler Ramerion began his professional career in 2020 but his journey truly started long before that. After completing his time in the army, Tyler found himself facing a question that would change his life:
Though uncertain about his next step, one thing had always lingered in the back of his mind since childhood his passion for acting and music. Determined to explore that calling, he stepped into the world of film and quickly found his footing.
His first auditions came for the short films Persistence and Still Lost. Not only did he audition he landed both roles. These early projects, directed by Nicolas Kaiden and Rick Post, marked the beginning of a rapidly rising career.
From there, momentum built quickly. Tyler continued taking on new film projects while simultaneously developing his sound as a musician, laying the foundation for a dual career in acting and music.

Breakthrough Success with
Carry You
In 2022, Tyler reunited with directors Nicolas Kaiden and Rick Post for the short film Carry You a unique blend of cinema and music that featured one of his own songs from his debut album, The Next Step.
The film went on to achieve international recognition, traveling across film festivals worldwide and collecting numerous awards and nominations. Tyler earned his first Best Actor award for his performance, along with recognition for Best Song. The film itself received accolades including Best International Short Film, Best Writing, and Best Cinematography, among others.
This marked a defining moment in Tylerās career solidifying him as both a compelling actor and a powerful musical voice.

Rising Career and HEEM
Tylerās career continued to expand with increasingly ambitious projects. One of his most notable roles came in the film HEEM, directed by Ben Lardinois.
The film premiered at the prestigious Nederlands Film Festival in Utrecht, placing Tyler firmly on the national stage. His performance earned him consideration for a Gouden Kalf nomination for Best Leading Actor, one of the highest honors in Dutch cinema.

Music as Therapy
Alongside his acting success, Tyler remained deeply committed to music. Between film projects, he released three albums:

For Tyler, music is more than just art itās therapy. Through his lyrics, he openly expresses personal struggles, emotions, and life experiences, creating a deep connection with listeners.

Cyclus

In November 2025, Tyler starred in Cyclus, directed by Mila Banis. The film tackles heavy themes such as femicide and abuse, and features a strong cast including Milou AimƩe, Max Pleysier, and Britt Scheltens.
Tyler described Cyclus as one of his favorite projects and also the most challenging role he has ever portrayed, requiring emotional depth and vulnerability.
Following this, he appeared in Ricochet, directed by Max Van Nol. The film premiered at the The Hague International Film Festival, where it won the Special Jury Award. Tylerās performance once again stood out, earning him multiple Best Actor awards across festivals.

A Personal Milestone:
FERRY
In January 2026, Tyler released what he considers his most personal and meaningful album to date: FERRY.
Named after his second name and dedicated to his grandfather, the album represents a deeply introspective chapter in his life and artistry. It showcases his growth not only as a musician but as a storyteller unafraid to be vulnerable.
