Wanda J. Knight: Strategy, Style, and the Power of Bold Moves

As a sales leader in a Fortune 20 company, I’ve spent over 25 years in enterprise technology sales a career built on strategy, performance, and the drive to exceed goals. My approach has always been rooted in thoughtful planning, deep research, and a willingness to get uncomfortable. Growth often happens when you push beyond what’s familiar and challenge yourself to think differently.


Sales, at its core, is a high-performance profession. Numbers don’t lie, and success comes down to executing with precision and purpose. Over the years, I’ve learned that whether you’re male or female, if you strategize correctly and put in the work, success follows. I also believe in empowering teams to “run their business” giving them the autonomy to lead while offering guidance, mentorship, and new ideas along the way.


Outside of my corporate career, I’m an avid traveler. Travel has shaped my worldview and continually reminds me of the value of stepping outside my comfort zone. Experiencing diverse cultures has given me a global perspective that enhances not only my professional life but my creativity as well. To date, I’ve visited more than 38 countries and counting. Every journey brings fresh insights, and I often find myself returning to favorite destinations to explore them in new ways.

Another passion of mine is Formula 1 racing. My love for F1 began when I was 15 years old, introduced to the sport by my father at the Mexico City Grand Prix. Attending that same race last year was a full-circle moment. This year, I also attended Silverstone, one of the sport’s most iconic circuits. What draws me to F1 is the unmistakable theme of strategy. At 200 miles per hour, success depends on both skill and smart decision making a lesson that resonates deeply with my approach to business and life.


Today, I’m channeling my strategic mindset and global perspective into building my brand as a digital creator and influencer. My focus areas fashion, beauty, and health & wellness are all industries I’m passionate about. Social media has become one of the most powerful tools in modern marketing, with companies significantly increasing their budgets in this space. I’ve always believed in positioning myself in growing markets, which is why I chose technology early in my career and now, I’m expanding into the digital creator economy.


I’ve had the privilege of merging my love for fashion and travel through my involvement with Vogue Club and Vogue Business Club. These experiences have taken me to Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event at their New York headquarters, Vogue World Paris, and even the Met Gala Viewing Party. Most recently, I was invited to Halifax Fashion Week to help spotlight emerging designers and showcase how fashion transcends borders. After all, fashion is a truly global language.

Some of my favorite brands include Victoria Beckham, Cynthia Rowley, Chanel, Vehla, Simkhai, and Norma Kamali designers whose creativity and confidence inspire me. When it comes to skincare, I’m devoted to Dr. Barbara Sturm, and for beauty, I love exploring innovative brands like U Beauty and Summer Fridays. In health and wellness, I’m a loyal fan of Arbonne and Cymbiotika for their clean, high quality products.


I’m a firm believer in being bold and taking risks. A year ago, I wasn’t thinking about becoming a creator but I knew I loved fashion and travel, and I believed I could bring the same strategic discipline and authenticity to this space that I’ve brought to sales for nearly three decades. Reinvention is about courage about betting on yourself and daring to explore what’s next.


At this stage in my life, I want my legacy to be defined by confidence, boldness, and execution at the highest level both in technology and as an influencer. But just as importantly, I want to be remembered for kindness, support, and a commitment to paying it forward to those less fortunate.


For me, success is not just about achievement it’s about impact, authenticity, and the courage to keep evolving.
