The fourth edition of the international celebration brought together designers, artists, beauty professionals and emerging talents in Milan, transforming the runway into a powerful expression of creativity without borders.


MILAN, ITALY — September 26, 2026 — In a city synonymous with elegance, artistic heritage and fashion innovation, the World Fashion Festival Awards (WFFA) Milan 2026 celebrated its fourth edition with an international gathering of creative visionaries, established designers, emerging talents and distinguished personalities from across the globe.


Inspired by the glamour and multicultural spirit of Dubai, the prestigious festival brought its signature philosophy, “Art Meets the World,” to the heart of Italy’s fashion capital, creating a vibrant dialogue between fashion, art, beauty, culture and international collaboration.


Founded by Her Excellency Royal Ms. Ioana Gratiela El Bada de Cantacuzino and renowned celebrity hairstylist Christian Giardullo, the World Fashion Festival Awards continues to champion creativity as a universal language, offering an international platform where artistic talent transcends geographical and cultural boundaries.





A Global Runway of Creativity and Elegance


The 2026 Milan edition welcomed 40 international designers and 77 young participants, reflecting the festival’s commitment to cultural diversity, artistic excellence and the discovery of new talent.


Designers from different creative backgrounds presented collections celebrating individuality, craftsmanship and contemporary fashion. Among the participating names were Brigitte Pastrama, Reham Sharaf, Karim Meguellati, Anna Harutyunyan, Haya Mansour, Maril Couture, Candy Couture, Haya Sarqia, Huda Khais, Jonard Braga, Riina Laanetu, Francesco Nava, Tatiana Minin, Maria Virginia Linul, Barbara Basciano, Miss L, Lilo Bijoux, Giuliani Medina, Najwa Imran, Ioana Bogdan, Andrea Mobili, Pina Grasso, Simona Span, Christiana D’Anna, Athea Couture, Flavio Massimo Altobelli, Sandra Luffarelli, Cosette, Rochie Malunes, Hope Kwaba, Marika, Carmela Luciani, Romeo Giulietta and Venera Modelz.


The competition featured two principal fashion categories: Best Collection, celebrating originality and creative identity, and Best Dress, inspired by the theatrical elegance and captivating atmosphere of the Moulin Rouge.


These categories offered designers the opportunity to express their artistic perspectives, blending imagination, technical expertise and distinctive aesthetics.





Art Meets the World: A Dialogue Beyond Borders


Art occupied a central position in the festival’s international vision. Under the artistic direction of Sveva Manfredi Zavaglia, appointed Artistic Director of the Art & Design section, the festival presented an exhibition combining physical and digital artistic experiences.


The exhibition featured international artists including Elena Radcenco, Mauro Petito, Salvatore Bonajuto, and Movement of Soul by John and Francesco.


By bringing together different artistic languages, the exhibition reinforced the festival’s belief that creativity can connect communities, inspire cultural exchange and create meaningful conversations beyond national borders.


The integration of contemporary art and fashion highlighted the evolving relationship between visual expression, design and cultural identity.





Celebrating Excellence: The WFFA Milan 2026 Winners


One of the defining moments of the festival was the recognition of exceptional talent across fashion, modeling, hairstyling and makeup artistry.The awards celebrated both established creative achievement and the promising potential of the next generation.


Best Dress was awarded to Haya Sharqia, while Anna Harutyunyan received the prestigious Best Collection award. In the young modeling competitions, Jiulia Constantini and Salvatore Binanti were recognized in the 5–8 years category, while Manuele Chiafala and Margherita Salemi received awards in the 8–14 years category.


The beauty competitions also honored outstanding professional artistry, with Lucia Bertone winning Best Hair Stylist and Greta Capone receiving Best Makeup Artist. The competition was evaluated by an international jury comprising respected professionals from the fashion and beauty industries: Neda Khashayi, founder of NK Beauty; Brigitte Pastramă, founder of Marquisa by Brigitte Haute Couture House; Pablo Gil Cagnè, founder of the Gil Cagnè makeup line; and Silvia Actis Perino, recognized for her hand-painted bridal and haute couture creations.


Their combined expertise brought a professional perspective to the evaluation of creativity, craftsmanship and artistic expression.





Honoring Distinguished Careers and Contributions


Beyond the competitive awards, WFFA Milan 2026 paid tribute to professionals and collaborators whose dedication and achievements have contributed to the creative industries and the festival’s international development.


Career Awards were presented to Sarajò Mariotti, Neda Khashayi, Pablo Gil Cagnè, Karim Meguellati, Salon Chic SA, Brigitte Pastrama, Lea Ferreira, Irene Quaglia, Michella Sauro, Le Reginelle and Serena de Falco.


These recognitions reflected the festival’s appreciation for professional excellence, artistic commitment and the importance of long-standing contributions to fashion, beauty and international creative collaboration.

While the designers and models commanded attention on the runway, an extensive international team of makeup artists and hairstylists worked behind the scenes to transform creative concepts into complete fashion presentations.
