ARAD, Romania — Between August 17 and 23, 2026, Arad became a vibrant meeting point for fashion, creativity and international talent. Arad Fashion Week 2026 transformed the city into a stage for designers, models and fashion professionals through an ambitious project organized by Andreea Cormier Wacker and the Allure Vision Karisma (AVK) Association, with the support of Arad City Hall and the Arad Municipal Cultural Center.

The week began on August 17 with the first gathering of participating models. Beyond introductions and socializing, the opening day was dedicated to intensive preparation, giving participants an opportunity to connect, rehearse and build the energy that would define the days ahead.

Miss Fashion Flair 2026

On August 18, attention shifted to the elegant Ferdinand Hall of Arad City Hall for the Miss Fashion Flair 2026 competition. An international jury composed of designers, fashion-event organizers and representatives of leading modeling agencies selected Tania Rostaș of Timișoara as the winner. Her elegance, attitude, expressiveness and professionalism distinguished her throughout the competition.

As part of her victory, Tania will appear on the cover of FFM Magazine and receive extensive promotional exposure within the fashion industry. The event welcomed several distinguished guests, including Hannelore Ulrich, founder of the Miss Romania The Crown pageant and official ambassador of the event; Chris Breier; representatives of participating modeling agencies; and other international guests.

Nora Emilie Nakken, Miss Universe Norway 2021, also attended as a special guest, adding further international visibility to the project. Mihai Eminescu Street Becomes a Runway

On August 19, fashion moved into the heart of the city as Mihai Eminescu Street was transformed into an open-air runway for Arad Fashion Youth.

Hosted by Izabela Vekas, the event attracted more than 500 spectators and featured over 100 models representing Romania, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Belarus, Ukraine, England and Turkey. The runway showcased creations by Denis Romaniuc, by Cristine, Rima Blanca, Carla Paraschivu, Adriana Popescu, Bianca Ana Maria – Biora, Ioana Belejan, Anca Dudaș, Mihaela Boșanschi, Foria, Amalia Georgiana Hațegan, and other designers.

Fashion was complemented by entertainment, with a performance by Cristiana Damian, winner of the Mamaia Festival, as well as energetic appearances by Mini Mini Reflex. Arad Fashion District Takes Over Neptun Lido

The celebration continued on August 20 at the Neptun Lido, where Arad Fashion District brought another evening of collections and runway presentations.

Participating designers, labels and organizations included Deya Couture, Adelin Kotrong – AK Highlited, Cosette, Leskiv, Asociația Mobilizează Te!, Nero, Enzo, Michelle – Rochii by Michelle, Motto Fashion, Camelia Ursu, Academia de Succes Milano Models, Valentin Kuna, Andreea Cormier Wacker, Wanda, Serenity Quartz, Amalia Georgiana Hațegan, and Anca Dudaș.

At the conclusion of the evening, three distinctions were announced: Adriana Popescu – Best Designer; Denis Romaniuc – Best Collection; and Amalia Georgiana Hațegan – Best Dress. Together, the two major runway evenings demonstrated Arad’s capacity to bring together fashion professionals and audiences for events with both national and international participation.

More Than Fashion

Arad Fashion Week was conceived as more than a series of runway shows. From August 21 through August 23, the program shifted toward personal and professional development, with sessions dedicated to design, makeup, hairstyling, nutrition, posture and health. These activities broadened the event beyond the modeling profession, emphasizing self-care, confidence, presentation and personal development.

The organizers expressed their appreciation to the participating agencies AVK Models, RAW Models Arad, Lawinne Models, Panna Company, QDM Models, and Top Point Models Spain as well as the designers, volunteers, partners and everyone involved behind the scenes.

The event also received important support from sponsors and partners, including Mihaela Bărburaș; Mădălina and Ella Nicolai from the Special Medical Care Association; Consuel; Gyro Mania; Bunătăți de la Hălmagiu; Plattinium Bistro and Pizza; Arome Orientale by Raul Vidican; Tirex Trans; Print Shop Arad; Club4U; Methexis; Loft Barbershop; Popa Florin, and international supporting partner Logan Curtis.

Their contributions helped turn an ambitious concept into a week-long celebration that brought fashion directly into the cultural and public spaces of Arad. Looking Ahead to Arad Fashion Week 2027

The conclusion of the 2026 edition is already opening the door to the next chapter. Organizers are planning an even more ambitious Arad Fashion Week 2027, with a larger and more spectacular catwalk, expanded international collaborations and new surprises.

Arad Fashion Week 2026 showed what can happen when creativity, passion and professional organization come together.

For one memorable week, Arad became a capital of elegance, fashion and international creativity—and the story is only beginning.
